 Article: Dispelling the Linux Myth
Windows hosts save up to 67% versus linux

The misconception holds that Windows based webhosting is a far more expensive avenue than using Linux based systems, and that there is therefore more money to be made from offering services based on the latter.

Unfortunately the reckoning behind this common belief, is factually incorrect. And worse, it is actually holding hosts back from realising their full business potential...  read more.

Technical Tips:  Changing the default location of your domains in Helm
From the help desk with Rob Kershaw, Tech Support Engineer

By default, Helm will create all domains in the location of “C:\Domains”. Obviously, this might not be suitable for a number of reasons; for instance, you may want to use the C drive purely for system files, or you may have other hard drives with a greater amount of space on which you would prefer to utilise.

To change the location of the “domains” folder, simply go to the Web Service you have set up in Helm:

Home > System Settings > Servers > Your Server > Web Service

In there you will see a field called “Physical Root Path” – simply change this path to the location you want your domains to be stored in, and click Save to finish.

All newly created domains will now be stored in this location!

Helm 4 takes the three tiered model and turns it on its head ….read more.
